O'connect is looking for a Payroll Officer for its client in Zaventem.
The Reward & Analytics Team ensures Personnel Administration, Payroll, Legal advice on reward and benefits, and Quality & Reward Analytics. As a team, we strive for quality, operational excellence – having a forward looking mindset and being innovative, a business mindset, and overall supporting the employee experience within our firm.
Your responsibilities:
- Processing the monthly payroll from A to Z for one or more business units and ensure compliance with social and fiscal regulations and correct and timely calculation and payment of wages
- Understand the unique factors involved in processing the payroll for a business units as your internal client(s) and advice proactively the Talent Team of the different business units
- Support the daily payroll related operations in close partnership with the Talent Teams in the business units and Talent Acquisition with accuracy and efficiency
- Advise from your expertise on payroll and social law related services in personal files and create a positive employee experience
- Collaborate with external partners (3rd party payroll provider, insurances, …)
- Continuously keep current with the most recent developments and payroll legislation
- Play an active role in continuously improving our way of working and strive for operational excellence
- You will be a key member of the payroll team and reporting to the Payroll Manager, working in close collaboration with the Talent Teams in the business units
Profiel
- You have 3 to 5 years of experience in a payroll function
- You have a bachelor or a master degree
- You have good knowledge in Belgian social and labor legislation
- You love accuracy and have a natural tendency to be analytical
- You are discrete and works accurately
- You enjoy working independently and team-based work
- You like providing top service to internal clients
- You have a proficient knowledge of Dutch or French and English
- SAP expertise and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel are an asset
