(Junior) HR Generalist
Function
For an innovative and fast-growing international organization, we are looking for a hands-on HR Consultant/Generalist to support the Regional HR Business Partner across multiple European markets (Benelux & Southern Europe).
This is a temporary assignment with an immediate start.
As HR Consultant, you will act as the operational right hand of the Regional HRBP, supporting several countries including Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Spain and Portugal.
You will take ownership of day-to-day HR operations, allowing the HRBP to focus on strategic projects such as pay transparency and job leveling.
HR Operations & Payroll
- Prepare payroll input for multiple local payroll providers
- Review payroll output and ensure accuracy
- Support fleet administration and working time follow-up
- Assist with social secretariat coordination
HR Administration & Systems
- Keep employee data up to date in Workday
- Draft contract addenda and employment documentation
- Manage personnel files and HR documentation
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes
Recruitment & Projects
- Support recruitment processes (screenings, follow-up with managers)
- Act as operational contact point for HR-related matters
- Contribute to HR projects across different countries
- Provide structured administrative and analytical support
You will work closely and directly with the Regional HRBP and act as her trusted operational partner.
Profile
- Higher education degree or equivalent experience
- 1–5 years of experience in HR (payroll, recruitment or HR admin)
- Strong interest in evolving towards a broad generalist HR role
- Fluent in Dutch and English (English is the main working language)
- Experience with Workday and/or payroll processes is a strong plus
- Analytical, structured and detail-oriented
- Hands-on, proactive and able to thrive in a fast-changing environment
- Comfortable switching between countries, priorities and topics
- You are someone with drive and ownership. You see work, take initiative and enjoy learning in a dynamic, international setting.
